Many women assume hot flashes, sleepless nights, weight gain, and mood swings are just a "normal" part of menopause.
But your body isn't an unsolvable riddle; your hormones are simply signals telling you what they need.
Here's what your symptoms are telling you:
Hot flashes: Caused by fluctuations in estrogen levels that affect the hypothalamus (the part of the brain that regulates temperature).
What your body needs: Remove ultra-processed foods, limit caffeine, add Black Cohash, Red Clover, and Omega-3 fatty acids to your diet.
Insomnia: Caused by hormonal imbalances, particularly declining progesterone, which helps you sleep.
What your body needs: Magnesium Glycinate or Theonate before bed (400mg) and chamomile tea.
Weight gain: Often caused by reduced estrogen and increased cortisol, can lead to slower metabolism and weight gain.
What your body needs: Remove ultra-processed foods, increase protein intake to 1 gram per pound of body weight, eat foods high in calcium.
The right habits can at least help manage the symptoms of menopause.
